‘Grosvenor Station’ sold at Auction

The Moranbah property ‘Grosvenor Station’ sold at Auction on Tuesday to Anglo Coal.
‘Grosvenor Station’ was offered by Graham and Linda Huddy to the market with Robert Murolo from Elders handling the sale. The property consisted of 5,273 hectares (13,025 acres) with excellent improvements and water from frontages to the Grosvenor Creek and Isaac River and a great balance of self mulching black soils and buffel pasture in good heart.
There was also included in the offering 1,170 branded cattle and a passive present income of approx $230,000. Bidding was paused by Auctioneer Andrew Adcock at $13.25 million and after a period of negotiation, the property was knocked down on a revised offering bare of livestock for $13.5 million.
Estimations were the quality herd of 1,170 branded cattle had a current market value in excess of $1 million.
Auctioneer Andrew Adcock, said “it was an excellent result, in line with the vendors expectations”.
