I am a local, being born in Armidale and having lived in the local area for most of my life. Following my schooling in Armidale I commenced working at CSIRO near Uralla as a trainee technician in 1993. While working as a technician at CSIRO, I completed a Bachelor of Technology in 2001, followed by a Bachelor of Science with Honours in 2003 and a PhD in Immunology in 2008 at UNE. After completing my PhD, I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Canada and then at AgResearch in Hamilton, New Zealand before returning to CSIRO in 2012. After returning to CSIRO, I continued to work in the livestock industries as a Research Scientist with a focus on animal health. I currently live in Kentucky on a small farm with my wife Amy, daughter Eliza and son Harrison. Our eldest daughter Isabel is currently living and working in Armidale.

Following 30 years in livestock research I recently decided it was time for a career change and have been fortunate to be offered the chance to join the Adcock Partners team working under the expert guidance of Nick Hall. I am passionate about the livestock industries and look forward to working with local producers to facilitate their livestock selling and purchasing needs. I will also be available to provide advice on any animal health matters.
